I mean that’s partially what he was talking about, but he also makes mention that they’ve given him 3 OC in 3 years and have taken away his favorite weapons (whether by letting them walk or benching them). Those are valid points. It’s not a recipe for success with a young QB with mid tools. I just thought it was interesting he was being critical of the org Excuses, the same crap McCourty did when he was on the team! He's on his 3rd OC because he helped run MP out of town and what happened? He got worse, not better. His issues are on him, doesn't handle struggling and it builds with him. 3 straight years under 3 different OC, he gets worse as the season goes along each year! One thing stands out, watching Tua throw that horrible interception, they talked about how they worked on him forgetting it. Act like it didn't happen, move on to next drive. Mac Jones hasn't been able to do that with 3 different OC. It effects him and he changes how he plays. My biggest worry with him coming out was he never struggled and had very limited starting experience. He needed to work this crap out in College, very hard to do in the NFL. Josh McDaniels and top talent isn't fixing him, until he fixes his own demons and frankly his attitude is that it's not him, but everyone else. You call them excuses, the guy who actually played the game at a high level calls them reasons on why a young quarterbacks development would stall |

Zappe sucks too. But Trubisky playing from behind against this defense is really bad for the Patriots’ future.

There’s very little doubt that the Patriots are intentionally tanking. They had Zappe in a 5 out spread on 1st down

I think the Steelers have the worst QB situation in the NFL. Tomlin’s coaching and their defense will get them a 9-8 record, but there’s no future for Kenny Pickett there

I have to ask why you think that? That's been in the playbook since week one. Because the strength of this team should be running the football, not throwing it. You need to run and pass in this league. Steelers are going full out stoping the run on first down, I think it's smart and they've made a few big plays throwing on first down already. I'd agree if they did it all game, not selectively. I actually think it shows they aren't tanking and are trying to win. |
