I can't remember a Red Sox team with a more toothless, boring offense.

I know that changing hitting coaches is viewed as "rearranging the deck chairs." But I've had enough of Fatse, I think whatever his philosophy is, it's not helping, seems either stale, or it's just not resignating with the players. To me the approach team wide needs to be addressed. Which hitters are failing relative to expectations? I assume you don't mean Duran, Abreu, Devers, Wong, Casas, McGuire, or O'Neill. Is it his failure to get through to Valdez, Reyes, Dalbec, and the like that is the problem? No the problem is an over aggressive team, that hacks away early in the count. That's a philosophy that can be changed. The biggest problem with this team is injuries and injured talent. But that can't be fixed, the team's overall approach can be adjusted and that starts with coaching. I think a change for now and the future is worth investigating. Will the offense get better by firing Fatse, Probably not, but it can't be any worse. And there aren't a lot of other in season changes that can be made. Plus, sometimes a good sacking, can fire up a listless team and spark a winning streak. (Joking, joking, joking,)

I really like Hamilton's at bats: Goes into deep counts, doesn't expand and puts the ball in play more than not. His defense on the other hand...

Cooper Criswell vibes running to the mound literally before the Nationals defense even leaves the field:

Don't like to complain about anyone on the team but not feeling D. Smith and G. cooper acquisitions. Would prefer Dalbec and Kavadas, or even Refsnyder at 1B and Grissom DH. Obviously the Casas and Yoshida injuries are really hurting the lineup and I supported these moves at the time but not feeling it...

So much of this lineup offers nothing.

I'm not really a believer in Niko Kavadas but I'm at the point that I'd rather watch him try to figure out big league pitching than Dom Smith.
