Our Jedi used his light saber to carve up 10 tourists in 5 and a third.

Maybe this isn’t a popular take given his recent success but given Coffeys recent success you wonder when people will start calling for a call up to AA. Given his last season, and struggles he’s had I’d really like to see him have some sustained success, still plenty of time to promote guys in a 4-6 weeks from now. I would want to see continued success. Let him rake for a month and build some confidence, it’s been a tough start to his career. (As an aside, how long can he take the streak before they stop pitching to him?)

I would not even remotely consider promoting Coffey this year outside of maybe a brief stint in AA to end the season. No reason at all to rush him.

Our Jedi used his light saber to carve up 10 tourists in 5 and a third. I get that and saw part of his 2 innings last night also. 50+ pitches for 2 innings and he was all over the places, which has become normal even with 5k's. believe he's a reliever period and will mlb hitters chase pitches out of the zone should be what the big question is. He's not the big guy projected as and realize many don't want to hear that unless he learns all of a sudden to get his pitches close to the plate. bryan mata like and that is another issue about to raise it's head very soon when a decision has to be made.

Who are you talking about? Certainly not Paez, which is who soxin8 is talking about. I’d imagine the Wicker Man?

Biggest issue have with every team pretty much's milb announcers is that they really give out -0- information at all, except for like (example) the reading guys last night harping over and over about those ridiculous batman uniforms they were wearing. Sometimes better off just turning audio off and watching. Thx again for that cdj.

Fitts threw 43 pitches in the second inning--they may have just not wanted to risk a fatigue-related injury if they sent him back out. Usually 30 is the line they draw. I'm kind of surprised they left him out for 43.
