I think you guys are overreacting a bit, this was a tough loss but the Celtics didn’t look LOST or anything. Just need The Porzingod to be back to form and tighten up the defense. At long stretches they did seem lost. At no time did Miami seem lost. The executed a successful game plan. I have no idea what the Celtics game plan was. I just didn’t see it that way. Miami hit a lot of timely shots and played stout defense. It sucks, but we knew the Heat are extremely dangerous. Let’s see how they respond on the next game. |

If you think Porzingis is the problem, you’re missing forest from the trees. The problem is the Celtics failing to play off of the Porzingis double teams and attack the basket. Miami is shading a man toward KP, leaving lanes to the basket for aggressive drives. Bro, The Porzingod was unable to post like Tyler Herro. |

Miami balled like their lives depended on it in the 4th, I don’t think anything of it. Caleb Martin tackling Tatum was classless. I’d call it reckless; I don’t think it was dirty (which I put intent to) Yeah, looking at it again, Jrue kind of pushes him toward Tatum. It looked worse than it was. |

Draft season is crazy, actually having scouts question how athletic Drake Maye is, wow. Maye is a monster of a bear man, everything I’ve watched from him just wowed me. Honestly, I think he’s FAR closer to being QB1 than QB3, and I say that as someone who’s also a huge believer in Caleb Williams. The only possible knock on Maye is that his delivery is kind of funky, but you can work that out. |

Listened to Phil Simms on SiriusXM with Pat Kirwan & Jim Miller yesterday. He sees JJ as a fit for NE, doesn't think Maye is ready (too many simple misses), expects Daniels to go #2. Likes Nix & loves the Penix arm. More too. Man oh man, I hope the Washingtons think like this. Take Daniels Washington, you want those Super Bowls won by a running QB like... Uh... |

I know Brock Purdy isn't exactly a top 5 QB, but he is good. The 49ers got insanely lucky with that pick. I'm willing to bet if they had Trey Lance, Jimmy Garapollo or signed someone like Jacoby Brissett I don't think they're as good of a team. The model for the 49ers is to accumulate a ton of picks, make picks at every other position and hope they all hit and are not N'Keal Harry, Isiah Wynn, Malcom Brown, Derek Rivers, Ras-I Dowling, Chad Jackson (point wasn't that Patriots draft poorly, just that other positions can fail too) and then hope that once your roster is stacked you get super lucky with a late pick at QB. To be fair, the 49ers didn’t plan for Brock Purdy. Their plan was Trey Lance, which was a high pick. They just got lucky on a good player to run a legendary offensive system. |

Here's my final draft plan:
1- Draft Maye at #3;
2- Trade with Washington for the #2 pick and pick Maye;
3- If Maye has been selected, see if any team will give you a moronic offer to trade up, then take the best available talent, preferably on offense;
4- Select MHJ.
That's it. I accept no deviation.

I'm actually wondering if Yoshida isn't adjusting to being a DH. I've heard some guys talk about how much they hate it. Feels like Yoshida is always adjusting to something. Hopefully it doesn’t take him long to adjust to being a 4th OF. |
