The Lakers passing on Tatum to draft Lonzo could be a fun thing to look back on for a long time. Passed on Brown too to draft Ingram. In fact, both of the Sixers and Lakers passed on them. |

One final sentiment from me before this thread come to a close: I didn’t want to say it before we chipped for obvious reasons lol but I HATE that no team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit lol. I wish someone would just go ahead and do it (not against the Celtics), I don’t like the pressure it adds as a fan!

The only sad part about this is Marcus Smart didn’t get his ring. The Captain is my favorite player ever and even though I miss him, I understood why he was traded. And what a trade it was. But shoutout to Smarf, he made this team so much more enjoyable. Yeah he’s the obvious guy that comes to mind there. But the first Brad era squads all stand out as the guys who turned the ship around. IT, Crowder (as dumb as he may be), KO, Sully, etc were fun to watch Amir Johnson and the Swedish Larry Bird Jonas Jerebko too. Terry. So many guys! |

Absolutely great half by the Jays, btw. Yeah, the points are there and the shooing numbers are coming around. But the defesne, the passes, the rebounds, the loose balls, the hustle..... they've been tremendous. After a jumpy start they have been absolutely brilliant. They want it and they want it TONIGHT! |

They just haven’t played small enough to do it now. Too much to ask Tatum to be that physical inside this deep in the playoffs. If you’re going to play small, then the guards needs to be relentless with their ball pressure. Unfortunately, Jrue and Derrick have been nonexistent since early in the game. More than that, if you’re playing small you can’t have your PG trying an under the basket bucket against their only big. |
