Seems like a big arm that has constantly been having his delivery tweaked in college.

Seems like being shut down in April for a few weeks hasn't been Scroggins' only arm issues this year. Arkansas Coach on Sunday:

As a redshirt Jr, do you think that affects his bonus much? He obviously has the leverage of going back to school, but age and Sr status next year really cut into his leverage. I’d hope they could save some vs slot. 100% guess here... but he's a legit guy and teams don't price gouge guys. If they called and asked him if he would take a super low offer why would he say yes? He could just say no and tomorrow get 125K from any team. I could be way off. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Seems like a lot of reach picks in rounds 6 thru 9..... I will be donating today as this is a wonderful site !!! This is intentional. Each will be signed for approximately $10,000 with the savings being available for difficult signs who drop in the draft. Why would Murphy, Bell, Dalton, and Scroggins sign for that? They are juniors and going to get paid or go back to school. Scott in rd 10 yes.

Looks like Bell pitched 23, 2, and 13 (3 BB, 23 K) innings last last 3 years. Jay Bell's kid.

He's a junior. Just listened to an interview with him. Said he's been up to 96 in front of scouts and he was advised not to do individual workouts after the season.

Different results and whatnot, but my initial thought is Zeferjahn's tool chest seems pretty similar to Houck's

Interesting to look back on Bannister's comments a few days before the draft last year:
Then no high school pitchers signed and Feltman, Ward, Shugart, Machamer, Fernandez each spent most of their time as closers or swing men.

Total meltdown in Darwinzon's last inning, had given up to 1 hit to that point. 2 singles, double, triple and walk. He did hit 96 in his last inning, but his velo was mostly around 93 by that point. 58% strikes, only 8 swing and misses.
Strikes this year: 71% 59% 58% 58% 58% 56% 54% 53% 50%

Sounds like Cody Ashe just suffered a major leg injury, fouling a ball off his shin. Curletta's injury is HBP elbow.
