That is excellent on content ... production quality is brutal, but I got used to it mostly. Interesting stuff on the last 20 years of the system, plus great stuff on the current crop.
Is Speier taking over the BA rankings? Did I miss that? At one point, he says, "But this is before I take over responsibility for the BA rankings" or something like that ... it's around 35 minutes in. Then Callis calls it "your list" a little later, as in "may qualify for your list" when talking about Britton and Workman.

Yeah, got to the end of the podcast, and it's explicit that Speier is taking over ... so that's good! Makes a lot of sense

Callis certainly will be missed by BofA. Yes, I know if I'm going to trust anyone with my money, it's Jim Callis.

The historical perspectives of Callis and the Red Sox system are very interesting. I can see the analogies of Betts and Sadler who Callis admitted he thought would be a better pro than Nomar. Not surprisingly Callis is very high on Margot.
