One of my favorite things about the site is the lack of clutter and pure baseball talk on this board but ten years deserves a big thank you to Mike and the staff. Kudos to everyone and we're looking forward to the next ten years. Leave this on the main board for a while and be proud of the hard work you all have put in to make this site the best around.
Mike's tweet yesterday.
SoxProspects.com launched 10 years ago today. Had about 5,000 pageviews in '03. Expect 15 million in 2013. Helluva ride. @soxprospects

Congrats to Mike and everyone else and a BIG thank you to all your hard work over the years.
I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the best message board I've ever been apart of (in spite of my posting, no less). From the intelligent posters and excellent debates to the humor, it really is a joy to read.
Here's to another great - even better - 10 years!

As a long time fan, following the 2004 Sox was electrifying. I also heard talk about the minor league guys, Lester, Pedroia, Ramirez, Papelbon, and the others. Then I found out there was a board where I could get the details about these players, and where they mentioned scouting them. That was it, I was hooked.
The team's 2007 triumph, the gradual loss of focus, the collapse, and now the rebirth, all of those are reflected in the state of the minor league system. This site has been a chronicle for all of it.
Is there anything more satisfying then watching this team ascend to the division title? Yes, watching them do it without gutting that system, watching Workman, Bogaerts, Bradley get to be part of the celebration. Mike and the other SoxProspects principles gambled that there was room on the Internet for them, and they won that bet. Many, many thanks. So appropriate that the 10 year anniversary comes on the day the team clinches another division title.

You don't fully understand how much work and effort gets put forth by the guys until you join the staff, and I'm thankful that I was asked to join it this year. The amount of work that everybody (editors, writers, mods) puts forth in order to make this site run as smooth as possible is incredible and really unrivaled by other prospect sites.
Oh, and we can't forget our amazing community!
Congrats, Mike. Can't wait to celebrate the 20th anniversary.

I'm not a big fan of internet boards for discussion. Even 4chan tires me. But this website is terrific to visit, you guys are a blast and the staff does a tremendous job.
Congrats to everyone. Now register that firejohnfarell.com domain already.

I need to pile on here. I didn't see the site for the first year or two but I've been addicted to it since. It's an addiction I relish.
Thank you Mike, and everybody else on the staff.

Just like to add a "seconded" to what everyone has already said.
Congrats to Mike and the staff on 10 great years. Here's to the next 10.

Yes, huge congratulations and thanks! I can't remember if I found the board in 2003 or 2004, but it's been a regular visit ever since as so many other blogs/forums/etc have fallen by the wayside. From the early days of Noblepap etc to today's position as a (the?) recognized leader of a team-based prospect site, it's been fun to follow along. In fact, if I can make a personal digression, finding this site was part of a process of making digital communications and organizing into a career, a career that's focused on politics and advocacy, and all along this site has been a fun and friendly diversion in an increasingly active (and sometimes stressful) digital-based career.
So thanks guys!
