We're overdue for one of those inexplicable games where Lester just doesn't have it. OK, that should take care of the reverse whammy. How about you leave these things to the professionals?

Let's pick on Craig with drag bunt toward the 1st base line just like they did with Salty for throwing to 2nd/3rd bases for potential base stealer/advance base runners. The gamble paid off for them with combined error & runner obstruction.

This team is nothing without Big Papi. (9/12 for this series).

Lovely! Didn't expect a run this inning after the strike out of Ells.

The Cardinals just can't stop PAPI.

This team is nothing without Big Papi. (9/12 for this series). It would be a struggle for sure. Hes the engine that's making this thing go. Unreal clutch performer.

Really should be Nava or Xander in the 4 hole.

Gomes could've crushed that 3-2 pitch. Wainwright really does not look that good. Lets get one more!

Man, good at bat by Nava. Guess he was looking offspeed there. Wanted another run.

Let's not out think ourselves up there, none of those three called strike three's seemed particularly nasty

Backwards Ks everywhere. No Mas. Wainwright actually threw a below-average percentage of his pitches in the strike zone this season. You gotta make him throw strikes or his curveball is going to destroy you. Unfortunately, they've been on the losing end of a couple borderline calls so far.

Watching from the GameDay @ work. I wonder why Ells, Gomes & Nava took strike 3 by looking instead of swinging @ it.

Lester needs to keep the pitch count down. The bullpen has been taxed in games 3 & 4

Great play by pedey on the deflection there.

Is it me or are these two knuckle heads looking for every chance to say Lester is struggling?

Really should be Nava or Xander in the 4 hole. I agree. At this point I'd rather see Quinton Berry in the lineup than Gomes, and I'm not a fan of Quinton Berry. That ball Gomes hit out the other day was grooved. It seems like the only thing he can hit is a 88 mph pitch right in his hot zone. He doesn't seem to even want to swing unless it's in his hot zone.

Drew has no timing at the plate at all. Like nothing.
