I'm not to thrilled with our Utility Infieder choices & Seattle is reported to be looking for a right hand hitter & is willing to trade Nick Franklin.
Lavarnway for Franklin.
Is it enough? Could Franklin fill the role of Utility Infielder?
Gomes & a lower prospect for Franklin?

Bryce Brentz is NOT better than Jonny Gomes right now. And I can't imagine that in that big ballpark that Gomes is a guy that Seattle, not really a major contender, would want. They want young talent for Franklin and neither a 3rd string catcher or a veteran is what they want.
