I know right away people are going to jump on me about the health issues with both these guys, but They would be absolute monsters in this lineup. Heyward has not really lived up to his potential yet, with him being a hometown boy in ATL and the the fact he hasn't gotten a long-term extension with the other core group of players there makes me think the Braves let him test the market and will hope to get him on the cheap which I don't see happening. Heyward with all his power would be a great addition to this lineup, He has underrated defense (especially for his size), and he has great on-base skills which the Red Sox organization covets. Sign him to a 4-year deal. Finally with a stacked farm system and not enough spots to put all those guys on the big league club go get Stanton. Vazquez, Middlebrooks or Cecchini ( i'd prefer to give up Cecchini), Mookie Betts, and Matt Barnes. This deal give Miami another catcher with great defensive skills and a developing bat to pair with the defense-less Salty, a pitcher in Matt Barnes to slot in behind Fernandez, Evioli, and Jacobs, Betts would be the crown jewel of that trade to give the marlins a guy who could slide in any of the 1-3spots in the lineup and give energy to the team. Cecchini will be another Kevin Youkilis type player, while Middlebrooks could possibly replace some production lost by getting rid of Stanton.

For all the talking we're doing about dealing for Stanton the reality is that the Marlins have no reason to deal him now and if they're highly competitive and have a legit shot at making the post-season next year they're not going to deal him this offseason either. As far as Heyward goes, keep in mind that BJ Upton got a 5 year deal and I would think most prefer Heyward. He'll get more than a 4 year deal with somebody else. In your scenario the Sox would have four outfielders counting Bradley and Victorino among Stanton and Heyward. Honestly I'd prefer to see Betts in LF for 2015 and see what it would take to get Stanton in 2016 if the Marlins are in a pennant race come 2015.

The Red Sox would probably have to give up 4-5 of Betts, Cecchini, Swihart, JBJ, Owens, Barnes, plus Marrero, Rijo and Margot to come close to getting these two. And then after completely gutting the farm, we'd have to commit $50 million a season for way too many years, leaving us in the position to not being able to afford depth or have prospects ready to play if there are any injuries.
Thankfully I'm more likely to win the lottery twice than this is ever even considered.

And with his magic wand Cherrington makes the wishes of Red Sox fans happen just like that.

Yes you need to trade some top prospects for Stanton that's to be expected for a top tier players.
