Of course not. Darvish is an ace with years left on his very affordable contract. There's no way he's dealt for that kind of package.

My revised plan for fixing the outfield calls for 2 trades:
Trade #1 RHP Buchholz, RHP Webster, RHP Ranauldo, OF Nava to Texas for
RHP Darvish, OF Rios and MILB OF Nick Williams. (If Buchholz fails the physical, we substitute LHP Owens and send Buchholz out for surgery)
Trade #2 LHP Doubront, RHP Peavy, OF/1B Carp to San Diego for OF Smith. Mookie, despite the hysterics at the moment, goes back to Pawtucket for more seasoning. ____________________________________________________________________________
Rotation becomes:
RHP Darvish LHP Lester RHP Lackey RHP De La Rosa RHP Workman
Lineup becomes:
3B Holt SS Bogaerts 2B Pedroia DH Ortiz 1B Napoli RF Rios LF Smith C AJ/Ross CF Bradley
Bench becomes:
SS Drew C AJ/Ross OF Gomes Utility Herrerra

I just want to put it out there were not getting Darvish period. To even entertain the offer we'd have to give up our top 4 or 5 prospects plus Bucholtz. So your looking at Mookie, Swihart/ or Vazquez, Owens, Webster, one of Ranaudo, Barnes, or Johnson, plus a player like Margot to even be considered for Rios, and Darvish. We'd gut out future for that. It's not worth it.

Maybe we could trade Ryan Roberts and Justin Henry for Darvish, Odor, Gallo and Profar. Oh and if that's not enough for Boston, Texas should have to throw in Beltre too.

I don't think Darvish is "untradeable" per se, but he would be a guy who even in a win now mode you would feel like you gave way too much for him. I think that starts with Betts, Owens, and Swihart, and you still have to add from there.

Both trades are unrealistic.
Darvish is the last guy Texas will deal.
And as far as Peavy, Carp, and Doubront for Seth Smith, that's not as likely either at least not the Peavy and Carp part.
Why in the world would San Diego want a washed up pitcher (and that's with me assuming the Sox would foot the bill) and why would the Padres want a guy who's on the DL and would be limited to 1b in that big ballpark of theirs?
Doubront is at his lowest value and Smith is at his highest value. Don't really see a match there unless the Sox sweetened it with something other than spare parts or a washed up pitcher.
And with the Sox currently situated where they are, I don't really think Seth Smith would be a big difference maker at this point.
