Nice to see last start was just a hiccup, as Kopech 2 IP, 1 hit, 1 walk, two ks.
Devers - train keeps on rolling all day long.

Escobar dealing (yes that's a drug lord reference).
Two hits after a rocky first. 1 run thru 6.

I would seem that there's finally room for Owens in Pawtucket

The number of 26-and-under starting pitching assets in the upper portion of the organization is pretty stunning.
(age as of 3/31/14)
Boston - Kelly (25), De La Rosa (25), Workman (25), Webster (24), Ranaudo (24) Pawtucket - Barnes (23), E.Escobar (21) Portland - B.Johnson (23), Haley (22), L.Diaz (21), Owens (21), E.Rodriguez (20)
And I'm not even counting Hernandez, Couch and Augliera, who don't project to be major league starters.

Betts was being showered by the AAA team with hugs probably traded. His last Red Sox memory will be that walk off..... Oh wait.

Kukuk - 2IP, 5/2 K/BB, 42 pitches, 24 strikes

Kukuk coming undone in the 3rd inning - 2 walks, 2 hits, 2 runs so far. He's already up to 25 pitches this inning and probably isn't long for this game.
edit: gets a DP grounder and gets out of the innings without further damage.

When the dust settles, Johnson probably stays in Portland.
Boston: Buchholz, Kelly, RDLR, Workman, Webster
Pawtucket: Ranaudo, Escobar, Barnes, Wright, Owens
I don't think they'll bump any of those guys.

Jordan Betts has hit really well since starting his pro career, hopefully he makes the jump to Salem next year.
