Whoa ... dude has a 20% HR/FB rate. That's, uh, pretty high. Yeah, it's also not going to stay that way. What Norm forgot to mention is that RDLR still had 4 strikeouts to only 1 walk. At this point I would absolutely love to reverse the Miley trade. Pitching in Arizona doesn't exactly help with home runs allowed, but at this point this deal looks like a wash.

Not everything needs to be an argument or get contentious. Something to think about. Anyway, Rubby De La Rosa since Carl Willis was hired: 6 GS, 37.0 IP, 43 H, 30 R, 9 BB, 33 K, 7.30 ERA, 1.41 WHIP. So clearly, Carl Willis is a witch doctor who forced all the negative pitching juju outward, not a pitching coach.

Happened to flip to the Dodgers game just as Rollins launched his 3-run shot. Ethier's came a short time after that. No editorial comment, it was just one of the last games of the night and I realized De la Rosa was pitching, so I stayed around to watch. He'd been shutting them down for a few innings, but it fell apart just about then. So that Willis juju must have infused my remote.

It's a complete joke that there are 7 freakin KC Royals in the ASG voting lead. It has always been a joke, this just makes it that much dumber. Good job KC fans. You look smart.

That's what happens when your team wins. I can't say I've ever seen it this bad though - I don't think it's the winning. They don't do paper voting in stadiums anymore. You'd have a team with a player in the top 4 or so of every position, but not leading every position.

I don't believe all 7 are deserving.

Chris Heston with a no-hitter for SF against the Mets in his 13th MLB start. 3 HBP's, no BB's, 11 K's, and only 2 fly ball outs. First no-hitter of 2015.

I think that Bryce Harper facing Jacob Lindgren of the Yankees was the first time in his career facing a pitcher that is younger than he is.

Eh, he has a 3.41 SIERA, which is a definite step down from last year but is still pretty good.

1:35pm: Bob Dutton of the Tacoma News Tribune reports that the Mariners did indeed contact the Phillies regarding Revere, but talks quickly halted due to the unreasonable asking price of James Paxton or Taijuan Walker.

This fits in well with my disdain for ever discussing anything with the Phillies since he wanted Bogaerts plus 3 more top prospects for Cliff Lee in 2013. Revere has one more arb year in 2016.

Wish we could of traded Jon Lester for Joc Pederson If that were even possible, which it probably wasn't, we would have almost certainly had to add Miller to the deal, which would have removed Eduardo Rodriguez from our fantasy roster. Good thing we didn't do that!! Eduardo!!

Webster with a no hitter through 5 innings.... Lol Same guy we saw here. Great stuff, no idea where it's going. Only 3 walks tonight. 81 pitches 47 strikes. Giants must not have read the scouting reports. They swung at a bunch of bad balls. He could get the win though. 4 to 2 now.

When I saw Webster pitch for the Sox I couldn't get over his mound presence. He always looked like he walked on egg shells. He looked like he needed sessions with Bob Tewksbury.
