This generation is filled with imbeciles. (Makes me sound older than my 31 years) I cannot fathom saying things like that in general, let alone to someone's father. Anonymity over the Internet is a lie as some of theses keyboard heroes are finding out the hard way.

Yeah, this kind of talk has always existed in frat basements and dive bars. The internet just amplifies things (which includes, as mentioned, anonymity).

Except it's not anonymous, geesh. And then it's there forever.

People are stupid and some are crude and others are both... Schilling should be upset and if these people want to be idiots they should suffer the consequences.
All that being said, the cyber bullying thing is a little overblown in my opinion in most cases. It's vile language but this was hardly threatening and if you are Curt Schilling being the confrontational douche he likes to be then he shouldn't be also exposing his daughter on Twitter. It's not an excuse for the assholes to be assholes it's just an unfortunate reality and I'd expect a father to be more protective.

As an 18 year old, I find myself disgusted by what people will post on the internet for a few likes or able it's every day. The whole cyber bullying thing is a little overkill sometimes, but these people went too far
