This Margot streak is amazing. The Celtics game is a wrestling match. Our AAA staff is possibly as good as the starting rotation in Boston. I need another beer...

This Drive team is a whole lot of fun to follow. What is this their third walk-off win? Fourth?

This Drive team is a whole lot of fun to follow. What is this their third walk-off win? Fourth? Furthermore, they tied it with 2 outs in the 9th, then escaped a man-on-3rd, 1-out situation in the top of the 10th. And Dubon got his daily 2 hits.

Keith Couch with a Wade Miley line, as if to say "look, I can be a bad pitcher as well if that's what you like".

Buttrey with a no-hitter through 5 to go along with 7 k's and a 5/0 go/fo I think we're getting close to a Dahlstrand to Portland, Buttrey to Salem combo promotion.

I'd let Buttery get another 3 or 4 starts of being a good pitcher in before testing him at a higher level. It would be good for his confidence. I worry about him getting in his head. He gets criticized for lacking the veto he had in HS, and I think he overthrows, sacrificing command/control for power pitching.
He has such a great frame, the potential is obvious, but he's one of the bigger project prospects I've followed since my introduction to the prospect world. Saw him in Lowell a couple years ago and he looked the part of a stud that day (played Pitt's A- team, gave up 2 GB hits in 5 innings), so I've always been rooting for him since. Glad to see some positive results early on.

Yeah, I've been wondering about Whitson. Can't really imagine Lowell makes sense for him. Did he tweak something? Being held back as a precaution?

Don't know any inside info, but if you look at his college numbers, a full minor league season would be a huge spike in innings.

Wonder if we'll try to really accelerate Gunkel to see if he can pitch out of the big league pen later this season.

And b) go back to your VACATION!!!! carry on then.
