Devers and Guerra dominant in Carolina League all star game,Guerra was 2 for 2 both doubles and 1 rbi while devers was 1 for 3 with double a stolen base and 2 rbis. They accounted for 3 of the 5 extra base hits and 3 of the 5 runs batted in...very very impressive considering they are the 3rd (devers) and 10th youngest position players in the league!!! It was the Sally league all star game but the rest is correct. Guerra hit two line drive doubles to LF. Devers had 2 RBI groundouts to 2B, a double to right center a BB and a SB.

Meanwhile, Jackie Bradley is 3 for 4 with his 18th double of the year. There's a possibility he's just a Quad-A guy - that there's something in his game that allows him to conquer Triple-A that just doesn't translate into the majors. But, like I said last year, his defense really mitigates the downside risk of playing him. He's someone who doesn't kill your team even when he's not hitting. And he really might hit. Interesting how betts can turn on inside pitches and in some cases kill it, yet Bradley can not hit anything in the inside part of the plate.

Interesting, how? Betts is really good at something that Bradley isn't.

Denyi Reyes is now at 25IP with 28Ks and 0BBs in the DSL. Are there any scouting reports on this guy—what does Espinoza's agent have to say about him? I'm about to double his twitter followship. Looks like a big kid.

Anyone have an update on Marco Hernandez. Should he be a top 60 or perhaps 40 prospect?

Jackie Bradley Jr. homers (1) on a fly ball to right field. Jackie Bradley Jr. doubles (10) on a fly ball to right fielder Tyler Austin. (off rehabbing Tanaka) Jackie Bradley Jr. homers (2) on a fly ball to right center field. (ditto) Jackie Bradley homers (3) on a fly ball to right center field. Jackie Bradley Jr. homers (4) on a line drive to right center field. If these pitches were actually over the middle or outside, all the better. And the only person who could make your assertion with any credibility would be someone who had watched every inning of his Pawtucket season. He is, BTW, 4th in all of AAA in wRC+, behind only one other prospect (the Astros' recently promoted Domingo Santana, who has nowhere near the defensive value).

Poor Sam Travis, seems to have been forgotten about last night with all those Greenville guys playing in the SAL all-star game. Sam went 2-4 in the Carolina League all-star game.
Let's hope he joins Manuel Margot in Portland very soon.

Making plans to head to the Fort for July 4 weekend.. They are home 7/4 and 7/6. Wife to the beach and my son and myself to the games on Saturday and then Monday. Espinoza may not be there, but hoping more of the newer draftees arrive. That is one "understanding" wife you got there John. Enjoy. I hope you see Anderson Espinoza! Hopefully you'll see one of my favorites in the "Jagger" man. Hoping there will be more than 1 trip this year. I am not able to drive any longer and depend on them. When she finally retires, this will hopefully happen several times per summer since she likes the beach and my son is also a Sox fan.

Looks like a big kid. This kid has a talent I have NEVER seen before. His arm is still back and he has already released the ball. Think of how THAT could confuse the batter. Either that, or he is about to get hit by a line drive back at him before he even throws the ball, which is equally amazing.

I was asking about Reyes. You were asking what Espinoza's agent has to say about Reyes?

Yes, was referencing the agent updating us on Espinoza via twitter. Let's start over: is there any info anywhere on Reyes? Can't find a signing bonus or anything on Google.

I was asking about Reyes. You were asking what Espinoza's agent has to say about Reyes? I think he was just referencing that Espinoza's agent has something to say about everything.

Maybe, but the only thing I've seen Espinoza's agent tweet about is Esinoza's performance.

Maybe, but the only thing I've seen Espinoza's agent tweet about is Esinoza's performance. And Steen's performance.
