Excited that Logan Allen will (hopefully) debut. These early starts have next to no predictive value, but if anyone is there in person, I'd be interested to hear thoughts.

Whoops. I guess between the rain outs and the zeroes in his line, I thought his first start had been pushed back. Thanks, Chris.

Looks like South Florida getting rain also, at least they got 1 of the games in. Has been lightning and raining hard in central Florida off and on for over 3 hours now.

Kyle Kraus starting the continued game.
Stankiewicz actually starting tonight so Wilkerson can go tomorrow on regular rest. Salem is in their latest string of skipping each guy once to keep innings down. Ball being skipped this time through.

There all summer and never saw it rain!! Thought.. How can a place survive with no water! HAHA.. Then came November-Dec and it rained hard.. Like.. What is this?? It don't rain every day during the winter??? HAHAHA..

The non-sorry Basabe brother is 0-0 with 4 walks Almost tempted to mention what a joke this became here when go back down to the Fort last week of August and see Dave Strom.. He was picking hard on several of the kids.. Basabe was just his victim then.. Personally? When Kotch was gone the 1st day and he was doing the managing duties, which meant coaching at 3b.. I talked with him between just about every inning, then off and on while he was in the dugout. The guy seems to have a really great sense of humor and believe players take it just fine.

Another good outing for Hank. I think he wants a look with the big boy club.

Another solid outing from Darwinson Hernandez, who now has 25 SO and 9 BB in his last 25.2 IP. Previously (last year at age 17, plus this year's start) he had 28 SO and 33 BB in 45.2 IP. Quite an improvement.
Between him, Denyi Reyes, Victor Garcia, and Yorvin Pantoja, we have four very interesting low-budget guys to complement the three bonus guys in Espinoza, Acosta, and Raudes. I can't recall anything like this crop.

What a sorry night for the Red Sox organization!! Other than Owens and Travis not much to get excited about. Add in the putrid play up in Boston, and you start inching towards the edge. I guess I better start working on those affirmations again.

Oh, Pat Light was good as well!
