You look at the roster for Pawtucket, especially the pitching staff and compare it from April to now and wonder just what is going on.. Names are almost totally different. Rotation of the kiddie corps is either hurt (Johnson, Workman, Wright), or starting in Boston, being Owens, Rodriquez and Barnes. New faces in the pen, new faces on the team all over the place brought into the organization. It's been a wild ride roster wise.

Rich Hill had such success as a reliever. Gotta wonder exactly what the plan is for him ... assumed he was aiming for a spot in '16 bullpen. It's reasonable to expect him in BOS in Sept.

Wasn't his problem that the curveball, being his most effective pitch vs lefties, litterally destroys his elbow after a handful of innings each season?

Several injuries and several guys getting called up to pitch for Boston. That's all there is. Some underperformance, for sure, with several position players, along with some callups
