It's almost like Ogando and his 5.49 FIP isn't good

Next you can thank Ogando and Tory for losing this one. For anyone playing the "guess the score based on the rantings and ravings of the gameday thread" game, spoiler time: this was posted in the seventh inning of a game the Red Sox were winning 3-2. While taking out your best reliever after the one out for one of the worst relieve pitchers and then sticking with him. Yep heck of a move there Tory!

Yeah they definitely know they're totally revamping this pen, they're just throwing out crappy bullpen guys because they're actively trying to make sure they get a protected pick it seems like.

To be fair, when you walk in a run after practically walking the bases loaded, there is a lot of time there to get pissed and post a rant. Ogando sucks.

Funny that Machi, who got cut by Frisco, could throw one strike and get out of an Ogando disaster isn't it?

If Robbie Ross is their best reliever then it doesn't much matter who they use. Agree that Ross shouldn't be a one-out guy though. He's pretty durable and has no platoon split at all. It's hard for me to be too critical of Lovullo at this point. He's been thrown into a tough situation, the bullpen is a walking disaster, and the team has generally played well under him.

So Ogando is still on the team so we can get a better draft pick, right? I can't think of another reason.

It's kind of weird that the Red Sox cut bait on Masterson, who is durable and wasn't pitching badly after the moved him to the bullpen, but have held onto Breslow and Ogando so persistently.

Every move by Ben Cherington is stupid.

Am I missing something or did they just take Papi out of a tie game when he was due to lead off the 9th inning?

Did they just take Ortiz out for defensive reasons three outs before he was due to bat again?

Ross has been pretty good this month is what I meant to say there. He has been pitching better than anyone else lately. Been throwing strikes when most of the others are throwing way to many balls and just bad pitches up there. What does he have 5 or now 6 holds this month and for this team this year that has to be a shcker or something. LOL

Ther seems to be a pattern developing before our very eyes: slowwww hook on Koji, Miley, Ogando wbile winning, quick hook on Ross and Papi. Interesting.

Mets announcers have it as being a standard HR anyway as it hit above the line.

Amazing inside the park HR.
I would've blasted the 3b coach if he was out by a mile at home though.
