Re-open the forum fundraising efforts? We should totally GoFundMe as a site and make that acquisition. Reminds me of a funny story that came out over the last couple days about Philadelphia Flyers fans starting a GoFundMe to purchase the Pittsburgh Penguins. Some of the best internet trolling Ive ever seen. Flyers Fans Try To Buy Penguins FranchiseSorry for the slight off topic-ness.

I'd assume that FSG buys them, or some iteration thereof.

I would expect they don't want another Lancaster-like experience so they'll go all out to own all the current affiliates if it comes to it.

Re-open the forum fundraising efforts? The Lowell Spinners of SoxProspects.com doesn't even sound any worse than the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Re-open the forum fundraising efforts? The Lowell Spinners of SoxProspects.com doesn't even sound any worse than the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Every night before first pitch, The Dude, Mike Andrews, takes his seat behind home plate. I'd probably be demoted to selling hot dogs. --- Back on a serious note though, I forgot that Weber is packaging the Spinners with the Silver Knights. Maybe FSG would spin that team off, as I doubt it'd want anything to do with that, but that could complicate things a smidge.
