Travis is really going to have to take to convince Dombrowski to not pursue EE or Bautista. Even if we did sign one, and Travis proved he was ready to start in 2017, we could just trade them because everyone is going to be interested in RH power. It would also hurt the Blue Jays as an added bonus. Unless Travis absolutely mashes to the extent that he gets called up, and then mashes in the MLB, I think one of those 2 is in Boston next year. If we get half or more of Pablo's deal off of the books, it becomes even more likely. Save the money for extensions and pitching, not for mid 30's position players. There are so many on the way in the next couple years. I agree but that's just my prediction on how DD will approach it.
