Pawtucket, Salem, and Greenville all won yesterday to keep their streaks alive. Sea Dogs won, too, making it a sweep for the Sox affiliates.
Pawtucket & Salem going for 7 wins in a row.
Greenville is going for 6 wins a row and going for 4 straight games scoring 10+ runs.
Tough matchup for Raudes and the Drive today as they face Dillon Tate.

Good to see our prospects are really being immersed in a "culture of winning" this year.

Alex Speier @alexspeier 29m29 minutes ago With the Sox in need of emergency arms, PawSox scratched William Cuevas from his scheduled start today (Robbie Scott takes the ball).

No Moncada or Benintendi for Salem boooo..... Clearly it's because they're being promoted and we should be freaking out.

AlexB with a 2 run HR. Drive up 4-3 bottom 6th. Tate didn't get the start for Hickory. Salem up 2-0 bottom 4th. Double Portland no-no's after 1.

Ockimey 0-1, 2 BB. Really embodying the slugger profile this year. Encouraging He's looked pretty good, still just a baby. At about the same time as you typed that he singled. Raudes taken out after 3.2 IP and 50 pitches. Hope he's OK.

Really hope Raudes is okay.
Add Chavis to the list of day offs today (Moncada, Benintendi also have) for those who were wondering about him. He's got his K rate under 19% and his wRC+ is a comical 199. I think they should be conservative with him still to build confidence and continue work on making contact consistently, but he's off to a fantastic start.
Devers 1-3, RBI. I could care less, but maybe the RBI will get the adrenaline going for him a little.

Great play by Rosario in RF for the Dogs. Stank fielded a dribbler but threw it away. The Yanks tried to score a runner from first and Rosario backed up the play then threw a bullet to nail the runner trying to break the shutout.

Damn 2016 Stankiewicz! Where did all this awesomeness come from? McAvoy, Stank and Wilkerson have been fun to watch in that rotation.

Yes they've been but for obvious reasons, I'm interested solely in Stank here and I would really like to know what is he doing this year to have such results. New pitch? Velocity gains? Tweaked delivery? Hopefully, one of our guys can catch him live and tell us what changed.

Damn 2016 Stankiewicz! Where did all this awesomeness come from? Speier mentioned in one of his 108 Stitches that Stankiewicz had moved to a higher arm slot this year that might allow him to get more of a downward plane on his pitches. If that arm slot change improves the bite on his secondary stuff and his strikeout rate, he might suddenly become a pretty interesting prospect.

I have no idea what's changed since he was at Salem last year and they don't do TV. He's pretty much throwing any of his pitches in any count and locating well when it matters. He uses both sides of the plate with his fastball. He gets a lot of called strikes and the opponents aren't making solid contact.

Could just be deception.

He's almost as good as Gray anyway If we make the playoffs, it's worth it. At least according to the never-dying Blue Jays thread.

Poyner with three more scoreless innings. He now has 13Ks with no walks. Drehoff back after not having pitched for a few days. 1 IP, 10 pitches, 8 strikes, 2K's. Salem won 5-1

Robby Scott got the start for the PawSox. I wonder how long it's been since he got a start.
Some unexpected moves:
Kelly DL Noe Ramirez recalled Escobar DFA Cuevas added to 40 man Hernadez optioned
