So Couch to Pawtucket? Is that before or after today's games?

It seems like Benintendi is adjusting to AA after a little blip at the beginning but that is not at all unusual of course. If anything, his adjustments to each level so far have overall been extremely smooth. He's working hard trying to steal bases and is having some impact in the field even when he hasn't hit. He seems focused on improving his overall game, which is exactly what the org wants. He has been impressive since day one.

When you have it really easy at Salem, it can take a while to adjust to the better pitching in double a. However even when he was struggling, he was still making solid contact. His approach was always poised and he always has a plan at the plate. He has a chance to be a tremendous hitter, worthy of our current batch of killer 'b's.

As enthusiastic as I am about Benintendi, Alex Bregman is just tearing up AA ball. As many home runs as strikeouts for a SS? Wow. 12 HR now. An wRC+ of 204 in AA ball already. He was the one guy the Sox rated higher than Benintendi in the draft if I remember correctly.

They were really high on him but those silly Astros took him while they have a young duo in their middle infield (Altuve/Correa). How stupid of them, creating logjams! SMH

Although it's only making Correa switching to 3B easier, doesn't it?

I really wanted the sox to take Bregman as well and was disappointed we did not take the pitcher from vandy, but I so happy we got Benny.

One of these things is not like the others ...
.341 / .413 / .563, Benny at Salem .105 / .150 / .158, First 5 Portland .389 / .429 / .500, Last 5 Portland

I was out of town this weekend, obviously Couch's struggles are because of that. Expect greatness next.
