For those who've been calling for it, Poyner to Salem finally. Fat Dedgar demoted to Greenville.

On a totally unrelated note, one thing I loved about Singer's gameday threads was the fact he listed some very basic stats. Example: AAA - Pawtucket (Shawn Haviland 4-7 4.32) vs. Syracuse [WAS] (Richard Bleier 4-1 2.53). While nothing earth shattering, I appreciated this. If it's not too much work I'd like it to return in some form (ERA, FIP?)

These box scores are getting uglier by the day.

I honestly forgot Simon Mercedes was still in the system.

Ben Taylor continues to thrive in a piggyback role, usually tossing 3 innings per appearance. I'm pretty surprised he's not starting to be honest.

I honestly forgot Simon Mercedes was still in the system. I truly forgot that Maddox was still a pitcher.

Moncada really scuffling lately. Not sure if league is figuring him out, his mechanics are off, he's injured, or he's pouting with Benny getting promoted and him not.

Almonte's no-hit streak is over, but through 3 innings he has 3 K's and NO BB's. I really like the no walks part.

Solid control and has swing and miss stuff. Luis Alexander just demolished an inside fastball to right field for a home run. Easy to see why he's so highly rated.

Trey Ball is a terrible pitcher.

Ball last two starts he had no defense. He only had two earned runs this start and last. A ton of errors in Salem.

I mean, we can spin it all we want but the guy has been a huge disappointement! He's not even good vs LHH: He pitched 6.1 vs them walked 5 and struck out 2. If they move him to Portland, he'll get bombed.

Yeah Trey Ball may not even be worth following closely pretty soon IMO.

Because at the end of the day, he has major league stuff, just not a lot of experience...yet.

We're just in denial here, if he wasn't the number 7 overall, he won't be in the top 20 and we won't be even talking about him or giving him any attention.

Because at the end of the day, he has major league stuff, just not a lot of experience...yet. you make it sound like he has high quality stuff and is just struggling to harness it. The bigger problem is that his stuff isn't particularly great. He doesn't have #2 starter stuff. He struggles to get swings and misses in A ball with his stuff. He is lefty, so there is always hope, but his issue isn't just learning control and trusting his stuff.
