Buck going to his closer for five outs. He means business and I like it.

The way they are hitting he just needs Britton for Ortiz, Hanley and JBJ. It might be a good idea to bring someone else to face Young.

So instead of using Kimbrel in a tie game Sunday we're now using him while down a run because he needs the work.

This would be a pretty good time for Shaw to break out of his slump.

I hope I'm made to look really foolish a few minutes from now, but it's so annoying how the Orioles seem to get the best of the Red Sox over the past 6 seasons when they play each other. It's like Buck Showalter is extra fired up to beat the Sox and it filters down to his players somehow.
Despite the Red Sox' flaws, they're a better team than Baltimore, yet when they play...and here we are in another close game, the exact type of game the Red Sox usually lose.
Hope it's a different outcome than what I'm expecting.

well, he did his job. under no circumstances can Vazquez be allowed to bat; i'd rather see Buchholz at the plate

Young, Rutledge and Castillo. That puts fear in the other team.

Maybe the 10-9 Toronto loss, but this has to have been the most frustrating game of the season start to finish.
