Good. I can't imagine how many major league careers that never were in the past decade because parents and coaches didn't care enough about blowing a kids arm out or making them throw breaking pitches at a young age.
A kid from my hometown was an awesome pitcher. Threw extremely hard. The most feared pitcher in little league/grapefruit league. He used to have to go to the hospital sometimes after games because his arm would be in pain. Yet his dad or coach must not have cared enough to make a change. The kid couldn't even play past his sophomore year of high school.
It's pathetic really. Competitive sports are great and fun, but if any parent or coach would risk long term health over any kind of childhood game or championship, they are complete clowns. Medicine gets increasingly advanced, yet more and more kids have to get TJS. It's the youth culture of the game today. Hopefully it changes.

Long time coming. This is great news to help protect these kids from coaches who have no other interest than winning as many games as possible in the now vs thinking about the kids future.
