BREAKING NEWS: Scouting director Ian Cundall has informed that it appears Kevin Steen will start tonight and Shaun Anderson will debut tomorrow (or he won't - but he probably will).

Looking forward to Anderson's debut! With his 4 pitch mix, looks like Anderson will be used as a starter to start his professional career.

We can finally start those Tyler Hill/Ted Williams comparisons...unless of course Hill decides to sit the last 30 games to preserve his .400

Went to the game tonight in Binghamton. Boys were all over the B-Mets pitching. So interested in seeing Moncada and Benentendi. Benentendi was solid, if not spectucular, which is what baseball normally gives. Moncada started rough....and error and caught stealing...but bounced back with a couple of hits. He is a speciman, no doubt. Great nites from Ryan Court and Anuery Tavarez...who both had a chance at the cycle. Jerez came in throwing 96...but tailed to low 90's. He had a pro style delivery (whatever that means) and looked like he could be a bullpen peice down the line. I got some video of the Moncada and Benentendi at bats as well as the guys screwing around during stretching before the game. I would have uploaded already, but I am missing the USB connector to my camera. I hope to find it. Was real fun to see these guys, and they played a helluva game.

Nice to see back to back multi-hit games for Chatham. Getting his timing back after the injury.
Shout out to the small sample size 26th rounder Hunter Smith is posting: 15.1 IP; 11 H; 1 BB; 20K.
If Dalbec continues to hit well with power I'd like to see a short stint in Greenville late August.
Is Anuery Tavarez still a "small frame . . . fringe hit tool with marginal power" type of player? How's his defense?

Is it just me, or is everyone in the Greenville lineup roughly the same player?

Looking at the box scores, nice to see Johnson with a good game. Castillo at .232, Vazquez at .239 - not too inspiring there.
Where is Workman? Was showing on the Lowell roster as rehab - now nowhere to be seen except as DL 60 for the Boston roster. Hurt again?

Is it just me, or is everyone in the Greenville lineup roughly the same player? The entire team has filed legal papers changing their names to Luis A Basabe.
