Can't help but notice that what appear to be four of the best position prospects in the Sox system now are third basemen - Moncada, Devers, Chavis and Dalbec. One of them could move to 1B and another might become a DH but that still leaves an extra. Moncada right now looks to be the best of the bunch and almost certainly a keeper, but what about the others?

Dalbec is too far away. Even Moncada is just O KKKKKKKKKKK according to some. Statistics says the "problem" will almost certainly sort itself out without the need to trade anyone.

I think Moncada is the least likely to stay at third, because he has so much more position flexibility than the others. I would pick the strongest defensive 3B (Devers?) and find a place for those who are not traded. Shame to waste Dalbec's arm at 1B, but he is a big target.

By the time most of these guys are ready we could have holes at 1B and DH, and if we don't, it's a great problem to have. Dalbec in particular is super risky, we don't know what will happen at higher levels with his bat.
