I could have a Ball on the Couch eating an O Henry.
The janitor at our church likes candy, so even our Sexton could have a Ball on the Couch eating an O Henry.
Sorry.

You've been slower than a tortoise trying to evolve Darwinzon Hernandez into the thread titles.
It's going to be that kind of day, isn't it.

You better evolve on that front or someone else will be naturally selected to make threads.*
* - just kidding you're really good at this and invaluable and we love you I was just making a joke

Big game in the Gulf Coast League where I think the Red Sox are a game ahead of the Twins with the season coming to a close shortly.
Not sure anyone on the Gulf Coast Red Sox will ever make the parent team, but it would be good to get them some playoff experience just in case.

Beyond Groome, even by GCL standards, it's not an exciting group. (I'm not counting Anderson, who I'm assuming is just shut down until Instructs and is on the GCL roster for roster space reasons more than anything - he doesn't even have a uniform number on milb.com's roster, which is typically telling.)

Was really torn about which game meant the most to me, but this morning the Lowell game seemed to naturally select itself.

And a bad loss for those GCL Sox this afternoon as the minors imitate the majors. After taking a 4-0 lead, the GCL Sox bullpen gives up a 5 spot in the 7th and they lose 5-4.

Huh, I didn't even realize that the DSL season ends tomorrow. Red Sox 2 clinched their division. Red Sox 1 may or may not have depending on what they do about recent rainouts.

Just because I liked the deer. The Drive do a great marketing job. No disrespect to Portland but I think Eric Jarinko is likely the orgs top exec.

I didn't know Matheny has wheels. Well he has 11 CS, so he's no Garin Cecchini.

Devers and Moncada did good too.
I still rooting for Ball. He looks better this year. I guess we'll see next year. The Sox are gonna give him a lot of leeway. I think Portland should be a fun team next year.

Brentz, Tavarez and two guys in Lowell also got 3 hits, but Dubon is the gold standard. Ok, Chatham 2hr and 4 rbi is gold too.

Tavavrez had a 10-game skid at .242 / .286 / .242. Last 4 games, though, 8/17, 2B, 3B, BB and his season line is back up to .335 / .383 / .504.
Dubon now at .352 / .382 / .559. Not too many guys who look like the bat boy with an Iso of over 200.
