Maybe we can switch the Dakotas and the A's won't notice??
GCL Sox game against the Cardinals is the one-game semifinal. Should be Vic Garcia on the bump based on the rotation. Winner gets the winner of today's Braves-Phillies game in a best-of-three.

Winner gets the winner of today's Braves-Phillies game in a best-of-three. Added Victor. That was my guess, but with the rainouts, I wasn't 100% sure.

GCL loses 6-2, and its season is over.
DSL loses 2-1, but its season continues. Series is tied 1-1 in a best-of-five.

Watched Lowell @ Vermont tonite. With caviat that I was using the scoreboard Radar, our Dakota was tossing 91-92 and occasionally 94. His breaking pitch which appears to be a slider or perhaps a Cutter was 86-88. He also threw an off speed pitch at 78-81. I had a bad angle from the 3rd base side and he pitches from the 1st base side of the rubber. He did get a bunch of ground balls albeit with but 1 K. Chatham put on a nice professional show in the box. Three for four and a walk. Base running awareness is a plus. He also lined a double over the CFs head for an RBI. Cleanly played both of The balls he handled.
Bobby Dalbeck did get a hit and a sac fly. He also chased a 91mph fastball at chin level for a K He did really hit two balls really hard, especially the sac fly. I'd suggest that if he had got a little more elevation tha ball have landed in Hadlock. Dalbeck handled all his chances but did throw a 98mph fast ball toward 1st that bent a Pepsi sign 20 yards beyond the bag.
Pat Goetz our burgeoning sidewinder looked quite effective against a poor hitting VT team. I do suspect that any decent LHH will get a good view of his pitches and kill them.
