The fact is they are going to have to move on from some of these guys at some point if they want to get better and/or if they use these Nets picks. I'll add the talent and sort it out later.
It's not like they will have the same issues Philly had with Noel and Okafor etc

We can agree to disagree on Bradley. If you're cool committing big money to a guy who's literally never had a full healthy season then that's you're prerogative. I'm not especially with this teams construction. Btw I said I don't like him and Thomas together not "he can't be part of a winning team" massive difference. If your idea of fully healthy is playing 82 games we don't have many players like that on roster. Players get injured. You dislike Bradley for this, but love Smart??? I think Bradley is better next to Thomas than Smart. At least late in games teams need to respect Bradleys shooting, which creates more space for Thomas. Unless we get Fultz or Ball, Bradley sure looks like best fit.

I don't see how you add Hayward and keep both Crowder and Brown. You can't play all three all the time against all teams. That's only when you wanna play small. I see no way to get minutes for all three. Only a Bradley injury allowed Brown to get good minutes this year. Now your adding Hayward. I just don't see Crowder or Brown being a full-time PF. That's if you wanna be able to defend and rebound.

Apples and oranges. And sorry I'm not going to pay a guy who's been injured 6 of his 7 years in the NBA 20m a year. And yes, I'm including last year... just because his significant injury came in the playoffs shouldn't discount it because he missed fewer games. He also keeps suffering the same types of injuries so you aren't talking complete randomness here. Could he turn it around and be health in his late 20s/early 30s? Sure he could but I'm not betting on that.
And yes offensively Bradley fits better next to Thomas than Smart with this current team.
And I've never said I want to pay Smart 20m a year so when the time comes that they need to be making that decision then we can see where him and the team are at. How one likes a player is relative to their place on the team and salary

Right now the Celtics have very few bigs signed for next year and we are talking about adding more 1,2 and 3s. Not sure that works.

I don't see Bradley getting 20 million. How many teams in 2018 are going to have 20 million in cap room? www.spotrac.com/nba/cap/2017/Last year everyone had cap room and it was crazy. This year a bunch of teams still have room, but by next year it should start getting back to normal. How many teams will spend 20% of cap on Bradley? I know based off last year it seems like no brainer, but there's just not that much cap space for teams to continue paying players at current levels.

Just my opinion, but you get best free agent you can and then make a trade. So sign Hayward and trade Crowder for a big. Want a funny one, trade him for Favors. I think that's better than signing Ibaka to a massive deal just because we need a big. Not many good bigs that are free agents this year. I'd rather pay Hayward 30 million, than give Ibaka 25 million or Noel 20 million.

If Noels wants to play for his hometown team what is it going to cost? Someone threw out 20 per, is that crazy for a prospect that hasn't done much?

I think he gets 15 million minimum, if he plays well to end year, he could get 20 million plus. Teams love guys like him because they think he can get better, so they overpay. They pay for what they think he can become down the road, not for what he's done.

Isaiah has just been bad lately. Terrible decision-making in all situations right now.

That is some of the worst officiating I've ever seen. Good lord.

There's a lady referee in there who looks like she would be better off joining the cheerleaders rather than have a whistle in her mouth.

What are the Celtics doing by putting Kelly f-ing Olynik on Dwight Howard defensively?
That's like putting Dwayne Johnson on a 8 year old girl.

Isaiah has just been bad lately. Terrible decision-making in all situations right now. He's a very exciting scorer and he's been shooting great and I get the people who think he's a top 10 MVP guy this year but he's got a lot of weaknesses.

Well Dwight is gone because he's an idiot. Hopefully the next time they play a center like that, Bogut will be here to defend him.

That female official is about the only thing worse than the Celtics tonight. She's in completely over her head every time I see her.

If Marcus Smart would stop forcing crappy 3s... everyone would love him. He plays so damn hard and he's so scrappy...
Ok maybe he needs to stop diving too

KO needs to stop trying to take people off the dribble It's not only that, but every time he goes to the rim, he looks to pass it last second. The guy is never looking for his shot, he's so frustrating.

I really can't say enough bad things about IT and Stevens since the team returned from the ASB. Just zero focus by the tesm's best player, while Stevens hasn't even attempted to make adjustments to the way teams are guarding Isaiah.

They really should put Young in the game at this point and just let him play and start launching shots... take out Marcus

Gotta love Stevens continuing his trend of waiting 10 plays too long to call a timeout.
