Thanks, schedule-makers, for a second straight year of necessitating a one-game series by having a team's only visit to a cold weather city be in the first week in April!

This has to be a bigger pain in the butt for the Pirates. If I recall, they would have gotten ERod the first time around.

I will be disappointed if the Red Sox do not sweep this series.

I will be disappointed if the Red Sox do not sweep this series. Whether or not they win the first game will go a long way towards determining that.

Someone needs to tell Eduardo this isn't what people mean if they ask him to do a Steven Wright impression

This Chad Khul pitcher has nasty stuff. Got the heart of the Sox order out in like 8 pitches last inning.

Not as much earlier. Anyway im not happy with the way this offense is loooking. They got 8 runs on Baltimore but their defense wss terrible.

It's going to be tough for Rodriguez to go deep into games if he can't command his fastball. His secondaries looked good today, but he's struggled to get ahead of batters all day long.

They've also faced a lot of good starting pitching so far (besides the O's guys) The offense will be fine.

You beat me to this point. Good stuff but poor command has been his hallmark. You would have hoped for some progress over the past several years but it has mostly been same ol, same ol. Unless it improves, he is a perennial 4 or 5....unreached potential. It looks like his delivery is very long, not compact. Do you think this is an issue?

When was the last time a starter finished out an inning? Regardless of how well they pitched, Chris Sale in his first start?

Looks like Mookie is out- but man that is a situation where they could've tagged two runners out at the plate in the span of a second... don't think I've ever seen that before.
