It's a good thing that baseball is non-fiction. Because in a fictional account I'd be pretty worried about a character named Shaun Anderson going up against a Ranger Suarez. That's just not going to end well for fictional Shaun Anderson.

That is one fascinating chart! Thanks for sharing that. Dahlstrand really not missing many bats. Callahan missing a ton. Buttrey, Requena, and Anderson squarely in that upper right quadrant of missing bats and getting groundballs. The evolver has a nice mix, too. Anyway, tons of interesting stuff, here.

Beeks and Buttrey dominated. Buttrey hit 100 mph on last two k s and slider and change are plus pitches.

Fantastic. If you put this together, would it be possible to color code for the range of pitches thrown? Say starting from lighter colors for the lower range - maybe 10 to 15 - extending up to a darker shade for the highest range, maybe anything greater than 35. That would give an impression for the weight to put on the results. I love this sort of analysis. Thank you very much.

Devers 2/4 (both are doubles) plus one walk. No wonder he has such a big smile on his MiLB page, anyone who can hit like that... Most impressive is the rise in his walk rate. Pitchers are probably growing wary of throwing him stuff he can crush so he seems to be laying off and getting on base anyway. He's the real deal.

Great stuff. I wonder if we can move this to some catch-all thread? Maybe the system restart thread? I feel like it has more potential to generate convo there rather than vanish among the gameday threads.

Scout, why don't you put that in a new thread? Shame for it to fall off the board after three days.
