That should be a pretty good matchup on Saturday. *attempt to write the most understated sentence ever*

Saturday game was moved up to 1:05 ET due to weather. Good to see Sox face a left handed starter, they've only see 4 this year and the last was the spot start by Aquino 3 weeks ago.

It is my unprofessional opinion that Josh Rutledge should not be on this team. There's no reason to carry a below average bat if he's also a below average defender.

Can we get a damn third baseman who can field his position AND hit better than a pitcher.

Yea, this 100% has to be Josh Rutledge's last game. He would barely hold on as minor league filler.

Unfortunately, I don't see any improvement even with Holt coming back. I would hate to screw up Devers development, but I would welcome him coming up at this point just for some defensive stability.

I'm so glad the Sox traded away their future to go all in this year. Seems to be working out well.

The Rays own Porcello this year. He gave up the 8 runs in his worst start this year against them and 3 earned runs so far I think in this one too.

And why is Mookie batting leadoff and Xander batting third? Can someone please explain the thought process to me?

I'm so glad the Sox traded away their future to go all in this year. Seems to be working out well. This team isn't going anywhere for the next 3 years, there isn't a lot of roster wiggle room. This is what we got, and it should work out well, but strange things can happen.

Going to watch the Celtics game tonight. They're losing too. Bad night overall so far.

I walk in the door and Longoria goes over the Monster. Some things never change. Can this club score 5 in a comeback? Not bloody likely. Even against that bad bullpen they keep talking about.

Quality start for Porcello by definition standards but the offense and defense fail on Porcello once again.

Down by 5 runs, and this is the best time to use Robbie Ross Jr Farrell? This is why you have Abad.

At least the Yankees are losing, so there's at least that.

we'll take it. But I am really worried about JBJ. His slash line is beyond terrible.
