Will there be a Christopher Acosta sighting on the mound today?

Jalen Beeks promoted to Pawtucket per the Sea Dogs. I still think Beeks most likely ends up as a reliever but he's gonna get a shot at starting if he keeps this up at Pawtucket. I think he's gonna be a quality pitcher for the Red Sox. Really high on him

Can he be successful at higher levels or just fooling hitters the second time around with offspeed stuff?

Devers just went deep again, he's got 10 now.

Devers has never slugged .500 at any level stateside before, and is now just one short of his total for each of the past two years (not as a knock on him at all). If that in-game power potential starting to come, maybe good as sign as any he's ready to move up.
For Beeks, I'm interested to see what the reports on him say about potential to start. I've never seen either pitch, but based on reports, age, performance, hard for me to see a big difference between him and Lakins who is ranked much higher.

Brian Johnson walking off with a trainer, looked like a hamstring injury.

Another struggle for Lakins. I'm not sure what he's doing different, but gone from 3BB's/9innings in Salem to 6BB's/9 in Portland. That won't help the results.
If I recall correctly, he had stretches in the past where he completely lost is control - and presumably his mechanics. Same issue?

Still no results from the DSL today - at least on MiLB.
ADD: DSL Sox results, anyway

Hopefully just came out as a precaution and still makes his start with the Sox next week.
