The Yankees have lined their starters up as Montgomery, Severino, Mitchell, Tanaka. It would be nice to start off with a W tonight and put the pressure on Severino to beat Sale.

Man hopefully the Yankees trade Severino before his changes become permanent and he transforms into a true ace. I wouldnt wish ill on Luis so hopefully the Yankees lose their marbles and put him on the block

This team can bury NYY this weekend. Make it so.

Bad luck for him. Gonna be a UFA after this year. They better hope Tanaka stays healthy and gets it together.

I really can't believe the discipline that Cashman and NY ownership have had in protecting their farm/young core. They clearly have both needs and assets, are in contention for the playoffs, and yet there's no real movement from them in the trade market. I'm actually hoping they put together a nice package of prospects for a Sonny Gray or something, only because I don't think a Gray turns them into WS contenders and I'd like to see that farm thinned out.

It's kinda had to hate Judge like other Yankees, but I'm trying. His breakout would only be surpassed if Will Middlebrooks figured out how to cut his k-rate by 20% and added about twice as much power back in 2014.

The offense was silent the 5 games they play NY. That has to change.

I get to see Chris Sale pitch from the green monster tomorrow. Nice. I want to break out some brooms for this series.

I am already sick of Farrell treating Benintendi like a platoon OF.

Hope these guys took a few mins to read the book on Montgomery. He looks like mostly fly ball guy in this limited duty. Also went less than 90 pitches in his last two starts.

I hope the break did a lot of good for Xander and Hanley.

I am already sick of Farrell treating Benintendi like a platoon OF. I don't like it. Young is horrible this year.

I hope the break did a lot of good for Xander and Hanley. Agreed. My gut says Hanley will look like a last year for 3-7 games and then that lead shoulder will start barking again. As I recall, the word earlier in the season regarding Xander's thumb was that it would be "something he'll be dealing with all season."

Xander didn't look right from coming back from the HBP in the hand the last couple games. Hanley looked great after he had 3 games off a few weeks ago. Didn't last long. Maybe he could use a DL stint.

Bogaerts cannot hit 3rd. Stick JBJ or Benni in there.

Too soon to start complaining about Hanley's horrible ABs yet? All he seems to want to do is swing from the heels.

Did we trade Henry Owens to the Yankees and he changed his name when he cut his hair?

I am already sick of Farrell treating Benintendi like a platoon OF. agreed. Benny needs to play. Xander needs to move down. They can do what they want with Hanley...except play him. Ready to see him go the way of Pablo.

This game already feels like a 10 or 2-1 loss.

Jeez, 4 guys LOB already.
Not that it's different than any other NYY game, but I'd like to have the Red Sox embarass them tonight. I'd be content with something like 12-0. That's hard to do when you strand a couple runners every inning.
