Imagine coming to Fenway Park for a four-game series in July and managing to miss Sale, Price, AND Porcello when all three are healthy.

Imagine coming to Fenway Park for a four-game series in July and managing to miss Sale, Price, AND Porcello when all three are healthy. I'm confused here. I thought Sale would pitch game 4. Am I missing something?

That would make sense - it seems like a week with a doubleheader would be an insane time to try to get everyone an *extra* day of rest. ESPN has everyone pushed back a day. MLB.com still has Fister in on Tuesday and is generally the slowest with their updates.

That is better then.
Liriano apparently left his start Saturday with an injury as well.

I would think Johnson tomorrow, Pom and Sale getting the last two. Strange that Pomeranz is listed for Thursday.
ADD: Radio's post wasnt there when I wrote this. My money is still on BJ for tomorrow.

Let's do this - taking out the broom would be so great. Thoughts - will TBD be Johnson or Velazquez?

Velazquez is no longer showing as tonight's starter for Pawtucket.

Yup, looks like Olmos is getting the start now for PawSox. Would think that means Velazquez comes up tomorrow.

Not surprising, look who are moving up the WAR charts - Mookie sitting #4 at 4.8, tied with Correa - Only Judge and Altuve at 5.1 lie ahead. JBJ moving up, now at #19 in the AL at 2.5. Xander is at 1.9.

Okay so now we're back to Johnson starting tomorrow, and Sale getting an extra day of rest, Fister getting Thursday's start.

Okay so now we're back to Johnson starting tomorrow, and Sale getting an extra day of rest, Fister getting Thursday's start. Why would the Sox push back Sale an extra day and feel the need to give Fister a extra start? Just leave Fister in the bullpen

Toronto will be looking for some payback from our last visit to the Skydome. They also need every win they can get to stay in the hunt for the playoffs. Be vigilant. Play good baseball.

Moreland and his melting OPS is still hitting 4th?

Moreland and his melting OPS is still hitting 4th? Even if you want L/R balance, seems like a no-brainer to swap Moreland and Bradley.

Terrible defense....and I know it probably doesn't mean anything...but I see JBJ just ignoring the cutoff alot. I don't know if that is always needed.

E-rod is wild in the strikezone.

Rodriguez missing spots and paying for it.
3-0 feels insurmountable right now. Bogaerts looks super lost at the plate for the past 3 weeks.

These pitching decisions for the series should go well with the Sox offensive woes. Sheesh.
