Devers would be good anywhere, but he is literally tailor made for Fenway Park.

The last 2 times I posted in the game thread was the night Vasquez had a walk off and Devers HR the other night, here's to hoping the third time is a charm as well.

The Mets continue to be pathetic. The Yankees jump out to a 5-3 lead in the 7th.

Wonderful. The Sox need to win this game if they want to maintain their lead in the division.

Vazquez is literally on the verge of single handedly losing this game for us.

Vaz swings at ball 4 then hits into double play ... seems like the norm when they are needing to scoring runs in a close game.

thats unbelievable. he should not swung at 5th pitch (ball four). Pitch 4 was a ball four too. yes, but it was a gentleman's strike. we can all disagree about that practice, but it happens to our benefit also.

Vazquez with his 7th error. He is a very overrated defensive catcher imo. Sure, if you're looking at errors and fielding percentage. Deja vu, all over again.

Sure, if you're looking at errors and fielding percentage. Deja vu, all over again. -5 DRS defensively this year. -1 DRS in limited innings last year. It's not just an errors thing.

Seriously get Hanley off this team.

Clutch Hanley. Farrell your lineups are horrible. It's losing the Sox games.

Hanley hitting between Beni and Devers against a RHP is almost criminal.

Hanley's days as a clean up hitter have to be done.

Brock Holt on deck. That's not a good pinch hitting option.
