Worth it just to see the Devers bomb off Chapman again. Bodes well for the Sox. Three of the top 4 originally in their system, too.

Worth it just to see the Devers bomb off Chapman again. Bodes well for the Sox. Three of the top 4 originally in their system, too. Especially with the detailed breakdown shown. I don't know if there's an ESPY for AB of the year but that should be a shoe in. On the other hand, the video selection accompanying Benintendi was poor. They should have shown on a variety of tools rather than focusing on one three hit game. Very few videos for the entire piece. I think the editors shortchanged that article.

I thought this thread and its content was interesting. Though it was a short-lived thread there's some good information here. I didn't want to hijack the info and put it in the Benintendi or Devers threads so just bringing it to life, hope it's enjoyed. And used well.

I read this back when it was posted and while I think it's interesting, I also think it's a little nuts (Big Callis fan, btw).
The number 1 & 2 on the list probably have to be Judge and Bellinger. Judge is coming off an 8 win season. There's a good chance Benintendi takes all of 2018 and some of 2019 to hit Judges 2017 figure. I expect Judge to fall back to Earth a bit, his BABIP hasn't been that high since the low minors, but he should still be a Chris Davis type with good OF defense. That's a really good player.
Bellinger gets overlooked because of Judge. He like Benintendi and Devers is super young, but is coming off a 39 homer season.
If I had to sell out for any Sox at the top, I think the clear answer is Devers.

It was a joy to watch Benintendi, Moncada and Devers together with the Salem Red Sox. When they'd visit the Winston-Salem Dash I'd try to catch their games. I guess it's been a couple years back. That team was loaded.
