Joc Pederson has lost the confidence of Dodger fans. However,he is still young (25), not expensive (entering arbitration), and has power. At worst, he would be a less expensive option than Castillo as 4th outfielder. At best, he could re-emerge if JBJ is traded.
I would offer Brock Holt (who will be an upgrade over Ultley) and Robbie Ross Jr.

I doubt the Dodgers would jump on that. Brock Holt at this point can hardly be considered an upgrade over an aging Utley and Ross is coming off a season in which he was injured. Both players on their own hold little value, and I doubt they'd have enough value to get Pederson, even with his struggles. Pedersen, at least has upside. Holt and Ross don't really have that at this point.
Castillo would be a better matchup at this point for Pedersen, although I doubt that even the Dodgers would want to take on the extra $ unless the Sox kick in a few $ or take a smaller contract back to even the $ value.

Even if the Dodgers would be willing to trade him, they'd certainly not do it for two guys with injury concerns and who may not even be on our team opening day.

Given that what matters is if Pederson has lost the confidence of the Dodger front office, not the fans, and they saw fit to add him to the LCS and then WS roster despite his down year, it's clear he still has it. They'd be selling way low on a guy that's not costing them much and has options remaining. I can't see it.

The Dodgers will keep him unless he is part of a trade to get a MAJOR piece for the team. Holt and Ross will not even get more than a laugh from the dodgers.

If the Dodgers win tonight Joc Pederson could be the MVP of the World Series. No way Holt and Ross secure Pederson. Not even close.

He has gone off in the Series. Still hope the Red Sox can get him as I still think he is undervalued in Los Angeles.

They'd probably be willing to move him but they'd want someone similarly young, talented, and cheap in return. Maybe if the Red Sox were really hurting for outfielders, you could put a trade together that would make sense for both sides, but that's not the case.
