Bryan Mata posted on IG that he's at Fenway today. This a good time to start a "traded to the Angels" rumor or nah.

I definitely see the Sox staff make their rounds in Lowell, Portland and Pawtucket, but it's probably helpful for them to bring players to Fenway occasionally for a quiet all-staff look-see--especially pitchers. Williams Jerez was up here a week or two ago, too, right?

Statistically speaking, Angel Maita is one of a few DSL players to stand out so far this season. Through 75 ABs he is slashing .347/.405/.493.

where is Antoni Flores? He hasn't showed up on the injured list that i know of and he was really raking in the DSL.

Bryan Mata posted on IG that he's at Fenway today. Darwinzon went with him. Good call by Kelly on the Jerez thing too. They must have the guys come up to throw bullpens or something. where is Antoni Flores? He hasn't showed up on the injured list that i know of and he was really raking in the DSL. He's in FL. I don't think we necessarily assumed anything.

I believe Houck also went up to Fenway about a month ago, too.

The average doesn’t stick out very much, but Cedanne Rafaela has shown the basic framework for an interesting power-speed combination. Second in our DSL in both home runs and steals. Insert generic DSL disclaimer.

Lorenzo Cedrola up to .326. Still not sure why he’s not in Salem yet. Repeating the level, hitting the ball extremely well, not injured anymore, not blocked. I know the question has been asked rhetorically, but why hasn’t he been promoted yet?

Bobby Dalbec has made two or three sensational plays at third tonight. Y'all shouldn't sleep on his defensive chops; he's turned 21 double plays, the most in our league by nine.

Org has a shot a 0-9. Lowell took 3-2 lead. Now bottom 7th @ Brooklyn. Trying to save us
Edit: 0-9. They did it

His arm is a howitzer, and his release is so quick. Not to mention he has good moves around the bag.

Good to know. That's the sort of stuff that doesn't usually make the highlight reels. What's your take on how he moves to his left and his right? Have you seen enough to get a feel for that?
