Hart has been rocky his last 2 starts after 5 straight quality starts before that. See what we get today.

Kelley’s first taste of AAA. His sidearm delivery and sinking fastball give him some deception, but I’m not sure how he’ll do if/when he reaches the majors. If I remember correctly he had a decent spring. 6.2 scoreless innings, 5 Ks, and no walks. Not that spring training stats matter all that much.
He’s getting ground balls on 24.7% of his balls in play, which is by far the lowest rate of his career. He’s been consistently around 42-52% thus far. Not sure if that’s a good thing or bad or even just a statistical anomaly.
If I had to guess, I’d say this is a temporary move but who knows. His year to this point has been different compared to the last few.

Sam Travis just dumped a home run over the center field wall for his second hit in two trips. Following his three hits last night, he’s lifted his average up to .227.

You have to wonder if his struggles were injury related (after coming back from his injury), or if it's his new swing. He's going to need to really push this year to get even a look next year.

I guess we won’t be toasting the return of Chavis tonight. At least not as a starter. He’s not in Lowell’s lineup.

Honestly I think suspensions should be in terms of days not games. A makeup doubleheader is one more game in a row that makes the player need to sit out more so it should be days.

Lukas Young removed after one batter, who flew out. Something to monitor. Then Fisher comes in and loses scoreless streak.

Excellent starts by Jake Thompson and Hildemaro Requena.
6.2 innings, 5 Ks, 0 walks, and 0 ER (3 unearned) from Thompson. He lowered his ERA from 4.99 to 4.57.
Seven two hit, scoreless innings for Requena with 6 Ks and no walks. Requena’s ERA dropped over a run, from 6.27 to 5.18.
