Hopefully Diaz is back in the lineup after being pulled yesterday.

Tidbit of the day:
Juan Hernandez signed in 2012 and is still playing in the GCL. Never played a professional game outside a complex league.

Hopefully Diaz is back in the lineup after being pulled yesterday. No Danny Diaz today.

So I'm not sure if it's his actual nickname, but Diaz's IG profile bio just says "El Niño". I'm in on that if y'all are.

GCL moves: Caleb Ramsey activated Kory Behenna released Ramsey making his pro debut in CF today. Finally gives that club a fourth true outfielder (as in they now have four outfielders, not that he'll be in a "fourth outfielder" role).

Only because Jhonathan is starting tonight. And then why not add Jonatahan

Brayan Bello, the #2 pitcher we got last year in terms of international bonuses, is off to a good start. 1.78 ERA in his first 25.1 innings. After a 8 strikeout-0 walk game today, he’s struck out 28 and only walked 7 in his first 6 games. He’s already 19, so he’s old for the system but it’s a good start to the year.

The DSL Sox2 have 17 hits, and Angel Maita has zero of them, which is not a thing I'd have predicted.

Chavis gets his first hit of the season with an RBI double in the first inning. Later comes around to score.

Six shutout frames from Darwinzon tonight matches season-high. Dalbec hosed on two strikeout calls on balls in the other batter's box, and still managed a double, a homer and three RBI. His homer was a shot right down the opposite line. VERY high degree of difficulty.

Hernandez has been quite good recently, which is obviously a positive on its own, but also because he's almost certain to be added to the 40-man this season. It's always rough to do the whole "guy you can't expose to the Rule 5 draft because his stuff is so good but also is tough to use a spot on the 40-man because wasn't particularly good in A Ball" thing.
