I honestly expect him to do that every single time he comes up now. Especially at Fenway

JD is having a hell of a season with the bat. What a pickup he has been.

We're going to see Brasier.

I'm not getting Cora's love for Hembree with runners on base. ... because they will want to keep Velazquez and Cuevas fresh for tomorrow.Twelve words strung together I never ever would've expected to see and likely will never ever see again. (But doesn't mean it's not true.)

Let’s not get carried away with the “greatest free agent signing ever”. I am very happy he signed here but among others, David Ortiz was a far better signing consider contract.

Dang, Brasier out there pumping 97 MPH heat with a nasty slider. These are the types of pickups that save/help rebuild the farm system.

Brasier starts off with 98. That wasn’t in the scouting report.

Milestone: Sox are the first MLB team this year to clinch not losing 100 games!

That was a very encouraging inning by Brasier. A lot of soft contact. What a arm. Had no idea that was just sitting in Pawtucket all year.

Nice debut from Brasier. He’s certainly got MLB stuff, 97 to 98 mph 4 seamer and nice movement on the high 80s slider.

Brasier has great stuff. Wow. Right? I can't believe a guy I've never heard of before yesterday might be the additional arm we've needed in the pen, and was in our system all along. That was impressive.

And he attacked the zone, no nibbling which is exactly what you want a power arm to do.

Milestone: Sox are the first MLB team this year to clinch not losing 100 games! If they play .500 the rest of the way, they'll end up with 98 wins. It's July 9th.

Also nice to pick up half a game on the Yankees...
As it looks like they’ll split the double header.

Honestly pumped for the Brasier appearance. He already looks better than Workman and Thornburg, although I'm hoping for sharper performances in the future from Thornburg.

That's now 22 straight appearances without allowing a run, earned or unearned. 14 pitches, 11 strikes. That made an impression I'm sure. How the hell was this arm even available, that might be the most amazing part not to mention team control.

Rodriguez still not efficient, but pitching well.
I can’t believe Brasier either. Let’s hope he’s the real deal that his stuff’s announcing him as.
They’re on pace for 111 wins now. Honestly, given the injuries to Mookie/Bogey/Pedey and the struggles of the bottom of the order, that’s almost shocking. And seeing as how all of they key players seem eminently capable of continuing their success, and a few others (said bottom of the order, Price, the black hole at 2b, and Devers) seem plenty able to ramp up...well, the second half could be incredible. They may have two 20-game winners with the best pitcher on the staff not one of them.

We got another Daniel Bard (when he was a good reliever) down here."

Milestone: Sox are the first MLB team this year to clinch not losing 100 games! I watched the Rangers broadcast and mid innings, after showing the Orioles score beating the Yankees then a snapshot of the AL East standings, the Rangers play by play guy said, "The Orioles could win out and still they wouldn't win the division." And it's true.
