Rusney will be the only PawSox in the AAA ASG tonight with both Beeks and Brasier in Boston celebrating alliteration. I'm kind of surprised they're not sending replacements, actually, especially given that they have deserving relievers like Buttrey and even Scott.
Hart, Kent, and Ockimey in the Eastern League ASG tonight.

As someone who was very intrigued by Lane Milligan's college numbers, I'd really hope he gets moved up to Lowell at some point to end the season.

As someone who was very intrigued by Lane Milligan's college numbers, I'd really hope he gets moved up to Lowell at some point to end the season. He could be a guy that moves up when the GCL ends, but no sooner. The GCL club is INCREDIBLY thin on the position player side right now. They have 15 healthy guys and 4 are full-time catchers, which is why they've had to play Milligan in the outfield more than they've played him at catcher. The breakdown looks like this: C: 4 guys plus Milligan 1B: None healthy, so Cubillan has been moved here 2B/SS: 3 guys 3B/DH: 2 guys OF: 4 guys plus Milligan Injured: Casas, Decker, Petit (apparently), Flores Meanwhile, Lowell has 8 position players on the bench even after the release of Hamilton (something something about his shot, something something).

Petit is playing today.

Hard to find much going right with Thompson's season. Minimal swing and miss, few strikeouts, bunch of walks, tons of balls in the air, lefties murder him.

Feltman just picked up his first save. Allowed a single then struck out the side.

Feltman's Greenville debut a disaster, he gave up a hit.

Duran was 2/4 but no XBHs. He made up though 2SB with no CS.
ADD: Yes I looked for Feltman before looking at Duran. lol.

Kole Cottam was 3/5 with a 2B, 3B, and HR (the rare single short of a cycle). The HR was his 3rd since joining Lowell.

Also, C.J. Chatham deserves some love tonight. He went 3/4 with a BB....BA up to .324 on the year.
