I'm pretty worried come playoff time if Sale is the only starter who is competent against playoff caliber offenses.

I turned it on just in time to see Price butcher that and get Holt hurt. WTF? Clearly something not right in his head right now.

Castellanos tried to kick Holt in the leg and succeeded in injuring him. Not saying he tried to hurt him, but he was definitely trying to hit Holt’s leg with his foot.

People are always so eager to jump on Price. He actually did a good job of backing up that play - just held onto the ball a little too long. Meanwhile, he's been pitching great, just a little bit BABIP'd this inning.

That was an amateur play and we don't know what it is going to cost Holt. Should have never been a close tag play. edit: it is his responsibility to back up the play

I feel like calling Steve Pierce the terminator with the way he's hitting with the Sox so far. *Pearce Let’s party. Shoot I can see myself doing that a lot. Thanks for clearing that up.

Holt's injury was unfortunate, but getting out of that without allowing a run was good work.

I’m saying he kicked him in the leg intentionally and that move was not part of his normal slide into the bag. He didn’t leave the base path at all, but he didn’t “accidentally” hit Holt’s leg. Some say that’s dirty some say it’s playing hard. I didn’t characterize it either way. The view from the camera at 3B showed it best.

You might as well blame it on Benintendi's horrendous throw. Meanwhile, after loading the bases on terrible BABIP luck, Price gets out of the jam unscathed. (Or, well. Holt got scathed. But figuratively, I mean.)

So maybe the blame lies with Benny. But we like Benny and not so much Price, so we'll blame Price.

There is a component to his game that doesn't match his ego. It has been exposed and I, for one, am getting sick of it, as is my right.

The guy O'Brien and Remy are marveling at for having such a low walk rate has a walk rate 40% higher than Nunez'.

I admittedly don't follow a lot of the press conferences and interviews, so if he's saying some stuff then I'll likely miss it. I remember the spat with Eck and the media, but I largely didn't hold that against him since it was in defense of a teammate (and by all accounts he's an excellent teammate). That said, I agree that he hasn't been the pitcher that I thought we were getting.
