Does anyone see the little icon next to this thread that reads "This thread is falling" if you hover over it? I've never seen that before.

As expected, Lakins up to Pawtucket. Per his wife’s Twitter.
It would be something to see Feltman promoted to Portland to replace Lakins. I say challenge him.

Catcher Erick Flores is pitching for DS Red Sox 1. Could be a mistake in the box score.

Catcher Erick Flores is pitching for DS Red Sox 1. Could be a mistake in the box score. I noticed that too. Could be a mistake, or they legitimately can't decide whether they like him at pitcher or catcher. There is a long history of the Red Sox and converted catchers (Weems, Bethea, Fisher, Reynoso etc.)

Antoni Flores and Bramdon Perez in the lineup for the GCL Red Sox. And looks Reyes starting, not Santana. It was Santana's turn. Not sure if he's beeing skipped or pushed out a day (or injured?).

Someone is hungry for a promotion to Greenville. HR Duran.
Seriously, he's a guy that could help them down the stretch and in the playoffs, if they get far. Who would have thought after the first 2 months of the season.

Flores, in the lineup w Northcut and Howlett, tripled in his first AB. The GCL is lit.

Antoni Flores removed from the game after the fifth inning. Tripled in two at bats. Likely just part of ramping him back up. He missed like 5 weeks, right?

Thad Ward has only allowed 1 ER in his last 14 innings.
And I just noticed, he's from Fort Myers.

The Greenville rotation has been pretty good this year. Reyes, Crawford, Diaz, and De Jesus have all put up good numbers. With the exception of Reyes, they aren’t destroying the level but you could make an argument for promotion for all of them. The struggles the Salem rotation has had has ensured that there’s no open spots. No guarantee any of them would have been promoted but still good years all around.

Rusney Castillo continues to rake in AAA .796 OPS on the year with a .377 BABIP entering the night. Seriously, where does this idea that he's playing so well come from? It's definitely not just you, so please don't take it that way, but everyone acts like he's beating his way out of Pawtucket or something. He had a great July but on like a .460-ish BABIP.

Who would have thought after the first 2 months of the season. He’s clearly tiring as the season wears on, and prefers the HR trot to the triple mad dash.
