Awesome game. Got to witness this one firsthand. There was never any exclamation point on their rallies, but suddenly a scoreless game became a 6-0 blowout with the aid of 3 two-run doubles. And that was plenty because David Price was totally awesome. He's pitching the way you'd hoped he would when he signed up. They need this David Price come October. Honestly I hope that he and Porcello can get a little bit of rest here and there. I would have been fine with Price being pulled after 88 pitches after 7, but he went out there for that one extra inning. I just think if he gets an extra day or two or some shorter outings as the September games get less important, it would do him good to help preserve him for the playoffs. Same deal with Porcello. E-Rod and Sale have already had their rests. Swihart did a good job filling in for Moreland on both sides of the ball. I was surprised they didn't go to Pearce but I guess Cora wanted Pearce for later if Miller or Hand were in the game. Makes good sense. Thornburg didn't look overly impressive. It was kind of crazy. 21 pitches and no outs and then out of nowhere 2 pitches for 3 outs and the ballgame. Hard to believe but I've attended both of my games I've had tickets for and in both games the Sox pitched a shutout, the 3-0 Eovaldi debut win over Minnesota and Price's masterpiece against Cleveland today. And here we are with the Sox winning 90 games before they've even lost their 40th and with a win tomorrow they'd be back at .700 on the 130th game of the season! Any chance you'll be attending the post season games.

Just a thought, how about the coaching staff Cora put together. The hitting much better and pitching makes good adjustments. These are the same guys with an excellent hitter added. Williams would of loved J.D.
I wonder if Leon catches Price better. I don’t remember who catch him when Vasquez was healthy. I mentioned this on Price subject also. Looks like there gonna go with this bullpen. I would love to try to grab one more piece. A veteran playoff piece.

Any chance you'll be attending the post season games. I wish. Have a feeling I'll be priced right out of those games. Even yesterday I was in the cheap seats. I went with a buddy yesterday and when I got home I watched the NESN condensed replay version of the game. I wanted to show my young son and my wife where we were sitting and sure enough when they showed Eduardo Nunez hitting his 2 run double in the 5th they flashed to the area just below the big jumbotron (is that the right word?) in the deepest part of CF and I could make out the black shirt I was wearing and my friend clapping next to me. That's the first time I was ever able to point out and say, "There I am!!!". I enjoyed that.

We have season tickets; they are so damn expensive but our seats are so good we keep them, but sell a lot of games at the beginning of the year (face value only), just to keep the tickets and have playoff tickets. When we first got them they we like around $10 a seat (we have 4), they now average about $100 a seat. They do tiered pricing so each game varies. We are in the 4th row of the upper box looking straight across the pitchers mound at the monster. High enough that the people walking in the aisle don’t block you and best part is we have our own row of 4. It sucks they got so expensive, and it sucks having to sell so many games upfront because it really limits when you can go but if you don’t and they have a bad year you’re screwed come August and September.

Those are great seats, I was right below you Wednesday (Field Box 28) and wished I could sit there every time I go to Fenway. A friend got them from her company’s owner. $140 a seat...just insane.
