Scranton has 1/2 game lead in the super-duper wildcard race. NYPL also has an extra special wildcard race, with Staten Island playing Brklyn head-to-head
Paw Sox. Will add players as they are now at roster of 20
Edit: NYPL, Auburn has already won, pushing the other 4 contenders close to elimination

How did I miss that Mike Ohlman is no longer a catcher? When did that happen. He caught last time I was in Pawtucket mid-summer.

How did I miss that Mike Ohlman is no longer a catcher? When did that happen. He caught last time I was in Pawtucket mid-summer. He caught exclusively from April 9th to May 30th, then switched to exclusive 1B and DH from May 31 to July 31st, and then caught again in every game he appeared in in August before his DL stint.

He caught in the last five games he played before the DL, so I think that's more of a misstatement than a position change. Or maybe he's recovered enough that he can play but not so much that they want him to catch this weekend.

That makes a lot more sense, both of you. Knew he was taking reps, but you're probably right about just needing active players.

Portland pitching staff at 10.
I predict Lowell will send pitchers out there for reinforcements
Edit: Betts off the DL and in the lineup. Seadogs Roster is at 24

Devers with a two run home run. With whispers that he may not make the postseason roster, he needs to finish strong.

NYPL: Vermont lost and is eliminated. Season ended on a peculiar play. Aberdeen lost and is eliminated. Staten island beat Brklyn. Auburn magic number is ONE. Sort of.
IL: pawsox trip up Scranton, whose Wildcard lead is now .001 Indy won. Toledo & Columbus are scoreless in the 6th. Scranton magic number is 2. Sort of.

Will be at Greenville live for tomorrow, but caught the last few innings tonight. A few notes: Juan Florentino was hit hard, but came back and ended the inning with a big strikeout; a base hit could have tied the game. Rio Gómez had very little control and was lucky to survive. Pedro Castellanos destroyed a ball to left centre and took second and third on throwing errors. He moves better than expected, though hardly plus. Frankie Ríos showed some serious range up-the-middle. Jarren Duran is a super nice guy in addition to an incredible post-draft performance.
